Professor Jeffrey Sachs, President of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network and Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, gave an interview on decarbonization during the on-campus phase of the Siena International School on Sustainable Development.
On June 16, at Santa Chiara Lab, Professor Sachs answered questions such as how to convince people to support the green transition and what should be prioritized first to accelerate the decarbonization process.
Professor Sachs also emphasized the importance of youth and political collaboration in the fight against climate change. He praised initiatives like the Siena International School on Sustainable Development for empowering its students, who come from all over the world, and giving them the tools to lead the transformation.
