SUMMARY:WHO webinar on Environmental Health Inequalities
DESCRIPTION:Environmental conditions are a major determinant of health and well-being\, but they are not the same for everyone everywhere. Inequalities in environmental risk are interlinked with almost all environmental challenges\, including exposure to air pollution\, noise\, inadequate housing\, energy and water supply\, climate change\, or lack of access to nature.  \nIn this context\, WHO (European Region) is organizing a webinar\, which will be held also on the occasion of Human Rights Day (Dec 10). It will provide an introduction to the environment as a human right\, present data on urban environmental health inequalities in Europe\, and review the coverage of environmental equity aspects in national action on sustainable development.  \nThe event will be in English with simultaneous Russian translation.
